Ineza Childrens Centre

It all started in 2014…

… when Ineza Parents’ School was founded by Jackie Baganizi. With a dream of a school that would provide an alternative to the overcrowded and understaffed public schools, Ineza Parents’ School was envisioned as a place where children would be safe from physical abuse and where they would be provided with a nutritious morning snack and lunch.

In 2013, Jackie Baganizi met Ellen Williams. Together they wanted to make a difference for the many local children in the Kisoro District. In the following years, Kisoro Children’s Foundation was established in the U.S., and Ineza Children’s Centre in Uganda. Together the two foundations have changed the lives of almost 1000 children in the local community. They support 70 children a year at Ineza Parents’ School and currently support 100 girls with full scholarships to secondary school, professional school, and university.
